The Poor Prole’s Almanac is a project dedicated to developing a framework for an ecology-centered vision of the world after capitalism inevitably collapses. Our focus is to make ecology and agriculture accessible, replicable locally, and to highlight examples of resilience in history & people actively developing those systems in real time.

This substack exists as a supplemental reader for the podcast, drawing out the core information from each episode for people who may struggle with the audio medium. The substack is also a public resource for people to cite and share with friends as needed, particularly in episodes where we go against the conventional wisdom of certain groups of people in food-growing communities. Subscribe, share, and if you can, support this project as you see fit.

The Poor Prole's Almanac is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
